Wayne N. EDWARDS

1944 – 2024

Wayne N. Edwards passed away at home on December 10, 2024 in Savannah, Georgia, at the age of 80.

He was born in Otterburn Park in 1944 to Alexander Hutchison Edwards and Lois Adele Dougal. In 1977, he moved to Miami, Florida where he resided for 40 years. In 2017, he moved to Savannah, Georgia, where he peacefully spent his final days at home with love and comfort by his side.

He leaves behind his wife of 57 years, Carol Carter Edwards, who was his best friend, staunch supporter and the love of his life.

Those who knew and loved Wayne will remember him for his kindness, sense of humour, his love of animals and plants, and a gracious host to his nieces and nephews who visited during school break each winter.

He is preceded in death by both parents, as well as his sisters, Adele Edwards Bolish and Beverly Weeks.

Visitation will be on Sunday, May 4, 2025, at Salon Demers, 651 Bd Laurier, McMasterville, from 11:00am-2:00pm.
